I am not sure if this is where this should go or not... but here goes. I have recently been thinking about publishing a book of poetry. What I was wondering is if anyone out there knows where a good Self publishing company is that I could do it with? |

There are books that have information like that. I'd suggest looking in your local library. Sorry I can't be of more help. |

Try entering a competition, I did and I got my story published. Join a book group, they could help you or contact book publishing companies, tehy could give you lots of advice, where to go, who's the best etc. Hope its helpful! |

Oh oh my language arts teacher actually has a book of poetry publishers for first-time poets to send your stuff to...so there's plenty out there waiting to hear about your work! the next time you go into town, see if there aren't any books at a Barnes & Noble or Walgreens, even...or Wal_mart...just gotta look around with what you've got! |

I have entered a few competitions... but I have trouble finding free ones that are not scams etc... and I really would like to stay away from paying to enter a contest. lol I wish we had the places to look! The only thing in my town is a grocery store that's about 20 feet square and a cafie...... |

They do the POD publishing if I remember right. Dissimulo wrote: Ask a librarian. That's how I got a poem of mine published.
