has anyone else read this absolutly amazing book? I just finished it at the weekend, the amount of characters and plots and stuff blew my mind a little, but I loved how it all came together! So, have any of you read it? |

Yes, I've read it twice. It is one of my favorite books by Dickens. His plots do tend to be confusing, but I find that if you stick with it, it's rewarding in the end. Who were your favorite characters? Mine were Esther, Mr. Jarndyce, Mr. Woodcourt, Charley Neckett, Lady Dedlock, Rick, and Ada.  Basically, most of them.

My favourite was Lady Dedlock, I felt sort of sorry for her, she must have had a really difficult time. But lots of them were really good, I liked Mrs Flite(? I cant remember the name - the lady with the birds), she seemed sweet, but I didn't like Rick because he was a fool, everyone kept on telling him not to pin his hopes on Jarndyce v Jarndyce, but he did anyway and ruined it all for Ada too... |
