When I was in middle school, I read every Tamora Pierce book I could get my hands on, which was a lot. She can write fantasy without it being affected, which I thought was amazing.

So yeah, I've read the series :P It's been a while, though...isn't it the one with Kel (or whatever her name is, I think it starts with a K)?

I've read Protector of the Small, and I must admit that I liked it much better than second time I read it. :) I loved Lady Knight, though, I was really captivated by that one. I think my favourite book by her is "The Will of the Empress", but I enjoyed both the Lioness and Imortals quartets. :)

As for Tamora Pierce's website, I can't remember the url - google it, it's one of the first results that comes up!

I just finished Squire in the quartet. I'll read Lady Knight as soon as I can! The only thing I don't like about the books is some of the 'mature content' for lack of better word in some parts of the story. Does anyone share that outlook?

it's actually not that bad, there are other fantasy books out there that are way worse then any of Pierce's books by far concerning the mature content.

I love her books. I don't think that there is too much mature content, but that could just be me. Sure, there was that part in PotS with Kel and Cleon.....but it stopped. None of it is graphic. I just read the first two PotS books in three days.

I love her books so much, I named a kitten Numair. He was the most adorable kitten. He was all black, except for a white splotch on his chest, and white armpits. He was so cute.

The only two books of hers I haven't read are the Trickster books. I've read the sotl, pots, and the two circle of magic quartets. Anyone else read those??
