LOL it was so funny, I kept saying even just a few minutes into the voting, "Norway is going to win! It's all set!" and MB kept going "I'm not saying anything". And that's what we said back and forth throughout the whole voting. Hahaha. Epic! :D

Actually, believe it or not... Eurovision is ultimately supposed to be about good quality music that represents each country. It's a Song Contest. Not a Performance Contest. Crazy entries have always existed but they've never dominated the contest nor have they ever rarely won. I was actually happy the ESC was a more serious event this year compared to last year's disaster.

Here in the UK, Eurovision is a one big giant Mick-take. It's never taken seriously. Not even by the BBC.

The Eurovision Song Contest is an entertainment spectacle and not every aspect of it can be, or is meant to be, taken seriously.

But then WT would have to want to participate and then get voted in as the representative lol

The UK does take it sort of as a joke now, but it never used to be like that from what I can remember in ye olden days :P. Also if everyone took it as a huge joke, our entrant this year would not have had someone of the caliber of ALW involved.

End of the day it should be about the best songs put forward by each country and then they battle out as the best of the best.

Hahaha, since Slovakia wasn't involved in ESC at all in my entire time living there (which is really, really sad), I didn't pay any attention to it at all. Now I kind of wish I had. Anyway, I think Estonia should definitely have won, since Rändajad is definitely cooler than Fairytale.

1. Estonia
2. Norway
3. Iceland

But no....nobody shares my taste. T_T
