So you've heard him speak french? I was listening to one of his songs on youtube and at the end he said "Mercie" Which I believe is french for 'thank you', if I've spelled it correctly.

Actually, his style is almost identical to another singer, Freddy Mercury, from the band Queen. I think that's the "freddy" he refers to in his song "Grace Kelly" At least, that's what my dad told me.
