Led Zeppelin seemed to like Seattle back in the days when they were rising stars. They first played there in December 1968 as an opening band for Vanilla Fudge in the old Seattle Arena. Later in 1969 they played at the Green Lake Amphitheater, and later that summer, at the Seattle Pop Festival at Gold Creek Park. They them played the Seattle Coliseum every time they toured through, with two shows in 1975. Their final show in Seattle was at he Kingdome in July 1977. I was at that one as well, and it was the most insane concert I have ever attended. The sound was crap as the place was one big cement echodome, but they cranked it up so the echo reverb didn't have a chance to interfere.
