I honestly have to credit Josh Groban with getting me to listen to music in other languages...seeing as most of his stuff is in Italian or Spanish, when it's not English. I enjoy random French songs (the only rap i have is by a certain MC Solaar) played by my french teacher in high school.
to digress, she was really cool. every month or so, she'd play a current or old song in French, and had us learn the lyrics. For example, Pascal Obispo, Alizee, MC Solaar, KYO,....and a song about Vercingetorix from ican'trememberwho...anywho, yeah.

Oh I listen to a fair amount of foreign music. I listen to Alizee, to the point of obsession. She's a French pop singer, fyi. I also listen to some other random songs that are in a different language.

Sigur Ros, which is all in Icelandic = AWESOMENESS. I like them a lot. Their songs are often very nice for falling asleep to.
My anime obsessed friends listen to some J-rock and J-pop which they occasionally thrust upon me. I do not like it, though I listen to it for their sakes.
Spanish = love. I take it in school, and I actually love listening to music in it. As long as it's good music. Mariachi.... not so much.
French music = ok sometimes.

oh that's cool. Which German musicians do you like best??
I really like some French musicians like Alizee, MC Solaar (spelling?) and Krys most of all (though I don't think he's that famous in France, right?)

uhm...Italian is gorgeous to listen to. love it. (particularly when it's Josh Groban. ) and Gaelic is so pretty too! but really as long as I like the tune, I really don't care about the words....and sometimes it's easier to appreciate the tune when you're not trying to concentrate on what is being said.

They sing in a language that doesn't exist? That's awesome. It's like the way I type: 10000 words per minute but it's in a language only I know.
I listen to HK pop. That's technically in a language I speak fluently, but I don't speak well enough to understand in a song.

Ah the Sailor Moon years......
I love music in other languages! It's so much fun to sing!
Othe than English, I have Gaelic, Spanish, Japanese, Rusian, one partially in Italian (the Prayer), and one in Korean. The Spanish ones are by far my favorite (Colors of the Wind [Pocahontas] and Journey to the Past [Anastasia]) followed by the Gaelic (mainly Celtic Woman and Enya stuff), and then Japanese. The Japanese is all from my anime phase that I'm thankfully over (sorry to those who like anime...not my thing is all), but the songs are still fun and have lots of memories attached to them.
Oh! And Dragostea Din Tei of course.
