Despite some link confused marketing from Christie's regarding the history of their example, I felt there was still genuine interest in each item as objects of link curiosity. But it seems that the Deep Sea Specials are just too esoteric to attract interest from the traditional watch crowd. I'm not sure who ended up link with these watches, but I'm half thinking it was individuals more interested in the history of aquatic exploration than in dive watches by themselves.
