I've seen them live...and Sam can drink himself to a stupor and still play note perfect.
I'm not saying there the fastest players in the world..but they don't play slow dude.

I've never seen BLS live..but I know plenty of folk who have..and he was so drunk he made a total joke of half the set. Plus the amount of dates he cancelled because he was a total alcoholic. _________________

So you think it's acceptable that people paid for a half a set? Or had a gig they wanted to see cancelled because Zakk was so out of it he couldn't perform?
If you want to drink onstage, at least know you can actually play to the fans that spend there hard earned money coming out to see you.
I love BLS..but what Zakk did was inexcusable. Even his own bandmates were embarassed for him.

Best Maiden albums imo are Powerslave, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, Piece of Mind, Somewhere in Time.
As for anything else...depends on what you like really.

Well I personally think that most Maiden songs are good and can`t really say favourite albums yet few of my favourite songs are Lord Of The Flies and 2 Minutes Till Midnight yet if just remembered that perhaps the `best` album that I can think of is Brave New World.
or well... just a favourite of mine

I'll just list a few of the bands I like, as it's hard to recommend bands blindly.
Amon Amarth, Korpiklaani, Nightwish, Finntroll, Pantera, Slayer, Anthrax, Ensiferum, Turisas, Edguy, Avantasia, Lost Horizon, Motorhead (technically not metal..but I had to put them in here)...
Try this site http://www.bnrmetal.com/ it has an A-Z and a description of genres. Gives you some ideas of bands to check out and go to there official sites. _________________
