Yes there are bands out there that do deal with those sorts of lyrics and ideals. But it's not the majority, and a lot of the ones that do, do it for shock value and to pee people off.

I like the shock value it brings though, it's just fun to scare people off with it, but at the same time it's a label we shouldn't have to live with

But then again, Satanists aren't what the general public thinks they are either. To the not-enlightened public it wouldn't matter if we'd be goth, wiccans or metal-heads - we'd all be "Satanic" and "devil-worshippers".

I love metal, especially folk/viking/power, that sort of thing. My favourite bands at the moment are Ensiferum, Turisas, Dragonforce, Opeth, Korpiklaani, Elvenking, Darkthrone, Emperor, Moonsorrow, Wintersun, Vintersorg etc...
