Russell Watson did a song along with Maire Brennan called Saylon Dola. It's so beautiful, has anyone heard this one? It's on his first album I think. I listen to it before I go to sleep.

Hey, has anyone ever heard of Solas? I really like their music! It's great.
Anyways, since my last post asking about Blackmore's night, I recently heard them (Courtesy of Child of Óðinn )...I love their songs, I really like the song "Under a Violet Moon" it's great! Oh and "Cartouche"! I suggest people to go check them out!

I haven't heard much of Blackmore's Night, but I love Solas. The lead singer's voice is lovely, in my opinion.

Did you know that they're related? Enya, Maire and Clannad, that is? I originally didn't know that...
I love Moya Brennan's album "Two Horizons". I've been listening to it over and over for months.

Once you know they are sisters, you start to realise that they do look similar and have similar styles, except Maire sings more christian-themed music. Their voices are both beautiful.

Yes, once you know you can really pick it. I think Enya's style and Moya's style now are less similar than they were, and I don't think Bridin (she's their youngest sister) sounds a lot like them. Perhaps its because her music is a different genre...
And, Calenfalathiel, its definately worth trying to get a copy of Two Horizons!

Glad you like them, babe They're simply amazing and yes "Under a Violet Moon" is one of my favorite songs as well! I have the sheet music for that song on the computer

I just went to a Cherish the Ladies concert last week. They are so good! I love watching people play. Has anyone heard anything from their new album? I personally love 'The Hills of New Zealand', it's gorgeous.

Ooo I love Celtic Music! The only band I really know is Celtic Woman, and my friend has their DVD. We love to watch it together She also got to see them in Chicago! I don't know if it counts, but I LOVE Riverdance, and I got to see them as well!
