^I second everything in the above post.

We were drooling over the first Wembley pics over PM a few minutes ago.

^You can't say as much as me. You're getting to see them at Madison Square Garden. I'm not getting to see them. You're lucky I'm forgiving you. :P

The Wembley pictures seem to have triggered the Muse switch in my brain. I've been completely taken over. AND I LOVE IT.

I wish they would come here [relatively close to where I live]. But I read somewhere that they don't want to tour the west coast (of the US) because it's too conservative. Geez. Heck, i'm a conservative and I like them. Seriously... there are enough open minded people over here to fill a Muse concert lol *stops her pathetic little rant*

Anyways...
Ellie, all I can say is you lucky duck.
End of story :P

^The whole "We'll add cowboy boots and a stetson!" interview? That was great. :P I actually think that there's hope for you though, as they just announced shows in Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Texas. I have no idea why they're not going to California.

*Is lucky that he lives on the East Coast*

First of all, thanks very much to Ellie for the thread with videos/pictures. You are slightly forgiven now. SLIGHTLY.

Second of all, to see Muse, seven hours is definitely nothing. It would be more than worth it. Good luck convincing your parents Luth. I really hope you get to go.

I live on the East Coast, and I'm still not getting to see them. :'( It looks like I'm the only Muse fanatic on the forum who doesn't get to.

Haha, yup!

I'm sure my parents will say no, but I'll convince them somehow. I've already hatched a brilliant plan... I'll get my boyfriend to buy me a ticket, then they'll have to let me go. Mwahaha.

I told my brother about the concert, and he was just like "So? you are too obsessed." :disgust:

Good plan.

I hate it when people are like that. Last night (sometime around 2:30 in the morning) I was watching my DVd of the Absolution tour, and my mother comes in and goes, "I don't see how they could be you're favorite band ever. Is it just because the lead singer is cute? Because there music is really not good." I just gave her a very dirty look and told her to get out of the room before I freaked out, which she did. Then I went back to watchgin my DVD in peace.

Aww... you will get to see them eventually! (I posted my other right after you did, lol). They will hopefully be in existence for a long, long time! lol.

I don't think my mom has actually heard Muse before... I think she would like them though. She's always listening to my music and liking it, which is kind of embarrassing, because then she always wants to go to their concerts with me!

But my mom would probably say somthing like that too [that I only like them because the lead signer is cute]. She says stuff like that alot :P

UPDATE

Oh my gosh. This is the conversation I just had with my mom.

Me: (half talking to self) "Oh.... I wish I could go!"

Mom: "To what?"

Me: "An awesome concert in Seattle in the Key Arena"

Mom: "Oh, well I can drive you over. Who is it?"

Me: "A band called Muse"

Mom: "Oh, I think i've heard of them. You can go if you like."

By this point I am hyperventilating. My mom dosn't like me listening to secular music (she dosn't forbid me or anything lol) so I didn't know if she'd let me go. But she was totally cool with it... wOOt!!! I really really hope I can go... I hope the tickets aren't sold out.

Sorry about the double post but...

I'M GOING!

My dad just ordered me and my brother tickets. We got very crappy seats, but I wasn't going to pay $100+ for one so we went for the general admission tickets. I am so excited, and I can't believe their actually letting us go. I simply cannot wait! But i'm curious... who else is touring with them? I couldn't find any info...

AWESOME. And GA rocks. You'll get moshed to death. :P Muse concerts have notoriously hectic mosh pits.

Where did you buy your tickets from? The most Ticketmaster is selling them for is $37, and that's for GA. *Is confused*

Poor Starlight. Now three of us are going.

We bought them through the Muse website's link.

I went to the website where the concert is at (the Key Arena in Seattle, a massive place) and the tickets were up to almost $130 or something for decent seats. This is like the only place that isn't sold out, probably due to the insane prices.

^Haha! that made me laugh. The sad part is, most of my friends and people I know would probably rather see him in concert than Muse... which is just wrong lol.
