I don't mind them at all. Not my fave band ever, but I don't find them nearly as offensive as some people do.
i agree...Trivium isn't phenomenal or anything, but they are quite good, and i like them too...they are metal, that's what i think anyway, and i don't get all the negativity that they're receiving either.
oh, and sorry for double posting

Lol . I can't contain myself. There's like a semi-serious discussion going on about a band, and out of nowhere-Blind Guardian. And everyone goes on about it. You guys are great, really...
And yea, Blind Guardian ROCKS mah pants

Yeah it's really great that they are Tolkien obsessvies (as we all are ). You should listen to their album Nightfall in Middle-earth, Bondage. The whole album is about The Sil!

I suppose I'll agree with that-it truly is an epic, power masterpiece!
While were on the topic, what are/is your favourite N.I.M.E. song/s? I've been addicted to When Sorrow Sang for a while now.
What is/are your favourite Blind Guardian album/s? Mine are: Imaginations from the Other Side, Nightfall, and A Night in the Opera. The latter is an excellent album, I'm listening to Under the Ice right now...I'm so covering this entire album if i ever get a band...And Nightfall...precious...
What about your overall favourite B.G. songs? It's a toughie, I know, so feel free to spam! Well don't go overboard... My favourites are (in no particular order, and keeping in mind all their songs are excellent [with few exceptions]): And the Story Ends, When Sorrow Sang, Time Stands Still, Noldor, Curse of Feanor, Mirror Mirror, Nightfall, Into the Storm, Under the Ice, Battlefield, Sadly Sings Destiny, Age of False Innocence, Punishment Divine, Bright Eyes, Born in a Mourning Hall, and And There Was Silence.
And what are your predictions for A Twist in the Myth? Think you'll like it? Did you like the songs on the single, 'Fly'? Overall, I thought the single was so-so. But looking at A Twist in the Myth, I think there'll be some good songs. Considering Blind Guardian has never failed me yet, I think it'll be a blast. What do you think?
