I'm going to New Yprk in about two weeks to see this musical. On Broadway wee. I'm very excited. I love the music and I every day play the songs on piano. I wish I could sing so well, that I could sing all the songs as well

I really hate the amount of trills that Sarah Brightman deliberately puts into her singing. It just irritates me, I don't know why. ^^;
I much preferred the very first PotO singer!

I just went to see the Phantom of the Opera last Sunday, and it was amazing. I thought the Phantom had a very impressive voice. The special effects were great too! I still haven't figured out how they did some of them! haha

Anyway, I've always had a liking for the music, but when the movie came out last year, I just fell completely head-over-heels in love with it. I saw the musical on Broadway over the summer, and that just made me love it more.

Gerard Butler as the Phantom... *drool* And Emmy Rossum (Christine) has a beautiful singing voice, even if she can't really act very well.

Has anyone read the book? I have. It's incredible.
