I've figured from reading the singing topics that quite a lot of people enjoy to sing these songs, but what about the musical?
Anyone ever seen it?
Favourite song?

Does Sarah Brightman's voice make you cringe as much as me?

...ahh, thoughts welcome!

I'm going to New Yprk in about two weeks to see this musical. On Broadway wee. I'm very excited. I love the music and I every day play the songs on piano. I wish I could sing so well, that I could sing all the songs as well :D

I really hate the amount of trills that Sarah Brightman deliberately puts into her singing. It just irritates me, I don't know why. ^^;
I much preferred the very first PotO singer!

My favourite song is really hard to choose.

I just went to see the Phantom of the Opera last Sunday, and it was amazing. I thought the Phantom had a very impressive voice. The special effects were great too! I still haven't figured out how they did some of them! haha

But wasn't she the very first Phantom of the Opera singer?

Anyway, I've always had a liking for the music, but when the movie came out last year, I just fell completely head-over-heels in love with it. I saw the musical on Broadway over the summer, and that just made me love it more.

Gerard Butler as the Phantom... *drool* And Emmy Rossum (Christine) has a beautiful singing voice, even if she can't really act very well.

Has anyone read the book? I have. It's incredible.
