i hope there's not already a thread on coldplay. i ran a search and didn't see one, so i guess not.

but anyway, does anyone else here think that coldplay is one of the awesomest things that ever happened to music?

I like all the songs I've heard by them :) They're not my favorite band, but Christ Martin has an amazing voice! :drool:

I really like that song Fix You. I've heard a few other things by them that I liked but I can't remember what they are called. They're not my fave, but they're a pretty awesome band. :-D

Hey, one more Coldplay-fan!
I love the album X&Y and many many songs from earlier albums. For example The Scientist, Everything's not lost, We never change etc.

Has anyone else gotten their new single, "Violet Hill?" It is AMAZING and FREE off their website.

When I'm dead and hit the ground
A love back home unfolds..."

It's so much darker and grittier than their old stuff. I love it.

luv Coldplay! its one of my favourites! i like heaps of their songs.Speed of Sound might be my favourite but i like Clocks,Yellow,Fix You,the Hardest Part,Talk and a few others.

Ooh! They're single is free off their website!? That's so awesome! I must check that out! I love Coldplay! Awesomeness...I heard Violet Hill on XM radio the other day and I was thoroughly impressed.

Hehe! I love every song off of X&Y too! It's a great cd!

It seems many of the bands these days are getting a little deeper and darker, it's awesome, in a sophisticated melodramatic way... :teehee:
