^Casting crowns rocks.
Even though thats a really.. creepy thing to think about, I would probably want Hallelujah by jeff buckley played.. sure it's not the best song ever, but it just seems like a funeralish-type song.

^My dad went to college with Mark Hall, so if I die an early death they might be there in person. (I would *lol* but that just doesn't seem right.)
It is creepy to think about, though, isn't it?

Probably the Funeral March.
lol.
And 'Homesick' I think it's by either Casting Crowns or Mercy Me. I get the two of 'em confuzzled.
I know my mom wants Largo from Lute Concert in D.

Homesick would be by Mercyme.
I would really like to have someone singing in another language there... Mainly because I'm going to be going a lot of places on missions teams and I want to learn as many bits of languages as possible while I'm there.
It'd be great to have some of those languages being sung...

Oh, and being as I'm semi-obsessed with LOTR's music, I'd really like "In Dreams" played too...normally I hate kid's voices but I like that one for some reason.

"Into the West" is a nice song, but it's probably used a lot for funerals by LotR-fans ... I'd want something less cliché. Something _I_ would like, even if those at the funeral hated it. Heh heh heh ... there's always Enya's "Only Time" (my favorite of her songs), though I don't know about that at a funeral ... it might work.
Hmm ... I think J-pop, J-rock, and metal at a funeral are out of the question, lol! So I'd go with something classical or new-age, I guess. Or soundtracks ... I love soundtracks.
I love Two-Mix's "Rhythm Emotion", but I don't think it would fit at a funeral. But something from the Fullmetal Alchemist soundtracks would work — perhaps "Warmth", "Kindliness", "Brothers", "Dante", "Recollection", ... there are SO many good tracks on that soundtrack <3. Michiru Oshima is a great composer.

I'd definetly have something metal at mine. I can't see my death bringing out many people, so I can be as unconventional as I want lol
I was thinking maybe Across the Rainbow Bridge by Amon Amarth.
Or if I'm feeling really twisted..Hell Awaits or South of Heaven by Slayer.

Well...my mother is dead and by the time I die, I'm sure my dad will have passed on also. Besides..it's MY funeral, so what everyone else want is secondary.

Now I think that something from the Children of Dune soundtrack would be awesome ... if you've ever heard that soundtrack, I think you'll know what I mean.
Look at this: Inama Nushif
Lovely, isn't it?

^ Original Dune soundtrack would be awesome (the movie is from '84 and I love it)
Nightwish's The Poet And The Pendulum would be great and very fitting - "For years I've been strapped upon this altar; now I only have 3 minutes and counting. I just wish the tide would catch me first and give me the death I always longed for..."

^ The soundtrack by Toto? I have it! Now you caused me to listen to it when I was going to listen to the soundtrack for 'Lost' instead.
