Third Day, Avalon, FFH, Mute Math, MercyMe Nichole Nordeman, Steven Curtis Chapman, Bethany Dillon, Across the Sky, ZoeGirl...i know there are other fans of Christian music out there! i'm a huge fan of it!  what are your favorite Christian bands? been to a Christian concert lately?? met any of the singers?? come here to talk about all kinds of Christian music! |

haha..i am not a vary big fan of christian music..but i went to a christian concert.cause they were from New Zealand so i had to go and meet them...the band is called Parachute Band and they are from New Zealand!!!YAY!! and i saw them in concert at the Nazrine church..it was fun stuff...I got all of there autographs on there Cd that i bought and Wayne was awsome and the drummer was prett hot..heheh..well Libby was pretty too!! way pretty..they sound really good live then they do on cd |

Well SCC is my all time fave! but I also like Avalon(Just their older stuff-I don't really like their new stuff) Matt Redman-Chris Tomlin-Switchfoot- Rebecca St. James isn't so bad and Delirious? is pretty good.

ooh, that is a good one!! which other 2 do you have? my fave CD of theirs changes all the time, but right now it's either Testify to Love: The Very Best of Avalon, or Oxygen. i dunno, i thought The Creed (their newest one) was only ok. |

The only one mentioned that I know is Jaci Velasquez. My friend copied some of her music for me, and I don't mind it. I don't have very much christian music myself. I've got a Cindy Morgan cd that I got for my 10th b'day, and a Maire Brennan one I got for my 13th, and I think that's all. I've heard bits and pieces of other groups, but most of it hasn't really been my style of music... |

Newsboys is the best hands down. I can't really stand much other Christian music other than Newsboys. |

Maybe I should listen to that Avalon band.. No I don't really listen to Christian music but I would like to. So it's great that you recommend sone in here. I'll go loking for some bands. But I don't know if I'd be very good at listening to christian music. Maybe I would disagree with their lyrics or something.. So... what do for example Avalon write lyrics about? Maybe one of you can write one here or PM me one? |

Avalon's lyrics are very uplifting and have general Christian messages that you find in most Christian music...some of it is just praising God through song and some of it is about human emotions and how we deal with our issues as Chrisitans, and If you see by this song that I'm posting it's much like a normal song only it's addressed to God: Quote: When the last drop of rain has fallen

^you pretty much summed it up. but yeah, Avalon has a pretty modern style that i like. here are a couple more of their songs:
