How is the rest of the CD? I saw her live a few years ago... she seems like a really nice and great person, and she has a good voice, but she's just not really my style.

Have any of you listened to the Inspired by Narnia Soundtrack? It's very, very good! The best Christian artists are on there (Steven Curtis Chapman, Nichole Nordeman, Bethany Dillon, Jars of Clay...). The are some really neat songs!

The rest of the songs were great too. I think Say Goodbye and Child of Eden were my favorites aside from We.

Yeah, they are. :)

Even if you're not a fan of the LWW movie, the CD is fantastic, since the words are inspired from the book. Rebecca St. James uses one of my favorite lines (well, she changes it around a little ;)): I'm scared and I'm not sure that are safe/But your eyes seem to say that you are good.

Oooh I love Christian music. It always makes me feel so good about myself and happy.

Have I met anyone? Oh sure! Infact I'm friends with a lot of them too. No...I'm not a groupie...even though I kinda go from concert to concert around the USA with them. It's fun. I've been to countless concerts! I don't have much time now but maybe later I'll make of list of people I know who are famous and concerts I've been to and who I travel with.

No way, Alatariel!! You've definately got to make a list, so I can see just how very jealous of you I should be. :P

I'm not much for Christian music (actually I'm surprised I've brought myself to write on this thread) but I was wondering if anyone has heard of Libera. It's a boy's choir from London and I'm pretty sure it's Christian music. It's really cool music...but I'm not sure if it qualifies as "Christian." Just wondering . . .

I like to listen to Steven Curtis Chapman, Jars of Clay, and sometimes I like Chris Rice. Most of the time I am too busy writing my own songs to listen to others. I'm only 14 but I kind of have a gig business going, so that's my thing.

So many battles
So much defeat
So many times
I have tried to retreat
Too much to carry
Burdens aren’t few
I slip and I fall as I reach out to You!

*chorus*
We’re in a battle of casualty
Some of us dead
All of us free
Be born again soldiers and free yourselves, slaves!
Your swords have been sharpened! Arise from your graves!

Too much to lose
So much to gain
Should I try and then fail
I may break in the pain
But give me a war
Or something to fight
I’ll crush the oppressor, I’ll try with my might.
*my latest song*

Well... you should all go listen to Foolish Things (http://www.purevolume.com/foolishthings) because I'm pretty sure they'll be popular in Christian music pretty soon. Supposedly they're talking with a couple different record labels. They're pretty popular in Colorado already. They are terriffic musicians too, with great lyrics... just listen to them, I think you will like them. I am good friends with the guitarist's wife, and been to several of their concerts. They're playing with the Newsboys later this month... I really want to see Foolish Things on a big venue (I've only seen them on small ones) but I don't know if I can suffer through the Newsboys :P

Anyways, check out Foolish Things!!!

*double posts and bumps back to the front* oops!

Foolish Things signed on with Inpop records this month! Radio stations will start playing their song "Spirit Come" next month, so keep your ears out! If you get Christian radio that plays the up-and-coming stuff, they'll be on there! Listen for them, and vote for them if you can. And please tell me what you think :)
