I haven't seen a topic for this before, if there is one feel free to direct me there.


I was wondering if anyone else liked Anberlin? Most of the people I've met in real life who like it are college-age guys.

Woah, Anberlin... I had completely forgotten about them. :P

The Unwinding Cable Car is definitely my favorite song of theirs, it's just awesome. I love Paper Thin Hymn and Godspeed too.

Haha, this is so funny... I'm listening to them right now! lol.
And I just saw them in concert Tuesday night... They were amazing! I hadn't heard much of their music before, but I went to the concert just for the heck of it. I'm glad I did! they are so good. I wasn't impressed with the side acts (WAY too much cussing and etc) but Anberlin was really good. I just bought their CD today :)

I got a few on my phone, but I am still inept and cannot figure out how to get them on my computer :blush: . I forgot to bring my camera... but here are a few from the photographer at the venue

As you can see, it was a really small venue, I think it only holds 250-300. So it was easy to be right at the stage, which was cool :)

Paperthin Hymn is one of the only songs I like of theirs (they're a bit too hard rock for me, but I do like they're lyrics).

And the Paperthin Hymn music video is sooo sweet.

The Paperthin Hymn video is so beautiful and sweet. I was almost in tears the first time I saw it.

As a general rule their lyrics take a few listenings to understand in the first place... yeah, trying to figure it out while half asleep really wouldn't work. :-P


Their lyrics are so original though... and so good.


Right now my two favorites are Paperthin Hymn and Reclusion as well. I've made LotR videos to both of them. :whistle:

Hmm... I never realized they were so popular... at the concert I went to, there were only 300 people there max... Not very many for a concert.
I should have stuck around and met them... my ride (coughMOMcough) wanted to leave, though...
