My favorite concert experience definitely was an Apologetix concert I attended four or five years ago. I was standing right in front of the stage with a bunch of other people, and Karl or Carl, the lead guitar player, was performing above me. I, impulsively, started untieing his right shoe, and a boy next to me saw what I was doing and started untieing his left. We were almost finished when he noticed, so he had to stand at the fixed point to finish the song and then walked across the stage (I don't know why *pouts*) and asked someone to tie his shoes. I thought my dad was going to murder me when he realized I did it!

Nightwish without a doubt. So incredibly fantastic. Anette was so much love. They all were. I was crushing on all the band members there
Seeing Sabaton, DragonForce and Edguy was incredible as well. Three of my favorite bands in one night - just doesn't get much better than that!
Simon & Garfunkel was pretty out there too. You never know when or even if they'll ever do something together again so it was incredible seeing them live!

Riverdance is AMAZING! I saw it live in Dublin back in 2004. Absolutely fantastic. I was in chills the whole time

Really really can't wait to see Nightwish with Anette. They were great when I saw them with Tarja. I can imagine they'll be even better, as they seem to be having so much more fun now as a band.
Ahh...the DF, Edguy, Sabaton show was awesome. All three bands were fantastic. Tobias is a charisma machine <3
Another one to mention...is the last time I saw Life of Agony live. It was there first UK tour since reforming and I was about 6 months pregnant. I stood at the side on a chair and had such a great view of the stage. Keith Caputo kept giving me these big odd smiles..like...'wow..pregnant lady here' XD was so much fun just singing back to him word for word. Just an awesome night.

You're going to LOVE the Nightwish concert. They just seemed so genuinely happy on stage with her. They seemed so much more comfortable as a band. Anette is pure love I tell you

That's the song I'm sure I'll shed tears at. I'm pretty much expecting the flood gates to open.

I've really only been to two concerts in my life but I doubt anything can top the Flogging Molly show I went to. It was just pure awesomeness. I don't even know how to describe it. I was on such a high afterwards.

For me, one stands out completely against the rest. I saw Daft Punk on 17th June last year, and it was at the O2 Wireless Festival on it's last day. They were the main band for the day and were the last to play, by which time it was starting to get dark. They were 30 mins late because it took so long to set up the stage. These aren't my pictures, just ones found off Google:
^ That one was the encore, and half-way through it, they made their suits light up.
It makes me shiver listening to their live album now, and it honestly was one of the best days of my life to see them play. The atmosphere was amazing and so was the music. Never forget it.

Hmm.... have to say the Seventy Sevens in Seattle in November 1999. It was a small club, the sound was mixed just right and at just the right volume for the venue, and the band was connecting and having fun, and played a long show of what I consider their best songs! I've been to a lot of concerts, and many were good, but to have everything fall into place makes it great!

I haven't been to that many concerts, but my top is definitely seeing Skillet at Kingdom Bound. My sister and my friend are both shorter than I am and they couldn't see much more than John Cooper's head. lol I ended up hitting a few people when I was jumping and pounding my fist in the air. Oops! They were all really nice, though.

I've only been to two "concerts" of this sort. By far the best was on April 24th of this year: Decyfer Down and Skillet.
A few other people have commented on seeing Skillet. They put on an incredible live show. It didn't feel like I was there to watch these celebrity rock stars perform; it seemed like the band was just there to have one big party with all 2000 of us. I was right by the stage, pressed up against it, so close I could have reached out and tripped the band members multiple times. It was an incredible experience. I laughed, screamed, headbanged, and yes, even cried a little.
I think that what really makes a band great is when they can make a strong connection with the audience. It's then that the concert becomes poweful and memorable.
