In my case, I just SO want them to come here again. It's been two months since I saw them now, and I desperately want to see them again.

Well balathor consider yourself fortunate. Seeing them in concert and then listening to their cd isn't the same. It changes how you listen to the cd but i didn't see them till just recently :-D they were my very first concert. Saw them and Disciple.

I only like a few of their songs, but the ones I do like I'm addicted to. My favorites are 'Whispers in the Dark' and 'Rebirthing.' I interpret their songs differently, as I'm agnostic/atheist.

All you people who get to see Skillet in concert. Oh, the envy. :D

Wow. :blink: Those are incredible pictures! I just might have to use some sometime to make a set. ;) I saw you in a few of them! I probably had bangs back then, too. Ah, yes, just another thing we have in common. :)

So, do you have any idea when their next cd is coming out? I saw something mentioned on their myspace, but I don't think there are any singles out yet.

Yes, I love those pictures. :) That was an amazing concert.


The next CD is set to come out at some point this summer - they are in studio in LA recording right now, and have been since January 12. I'm SO looking forward to it. :)

This summer? :swoon: Ok, I'm officially excited now! My sister's standing next to me, and when I told her the awesome news, she was like, "Wheeeeeeeee!" or something to that extent. :) I don't see how they can get any better than they already are, but I'm sure they'll find a way somehow. ;)

On a random note, I was looking through the music pages, and found your thread about Pandora music. I am so happy I found that! I created Red, 12 Stones, and Trading Yesterday stations, and am loving it. :hug:

Yes. :) And they'll be touring again in April. :yes: And I'm sure after the new album is released too. They said the new album will be along the same basic lines of Comatose, but I think they're adding in more heavy guitars. I am SO EXCITED! It gives me something amazing to look forward to.


Yes, Pandora rocks. :-D It's such a good way to find new music too!

That's good! I was hoping they wouldn't change their sound too much because it's so perfect the way it is. More heavy guitars....:swoon: I am completely in love with heavy guitars, so that news just made my day! :)

Pandora has already introduced me to so many great bands today. *huggles it*

Skillet...summer...SQUEE!!

I'm so excited! A new Red album and a new Skillet album in the same year! Ahh, I'm liking the description with the heavier guitars. That makes Estel very, very happy. Very happy indeed.

Ahh, I forgot all about Pandora until reading this thread...I love that website!

Yes, in recent podcasts we've been able to hear all of a few seconds of the guitar work, and the Panhead community has been trying to figure out what the songs will sound like. :-P We've heard 7 words of lyrics from the new album, and now I'm debating what they could mean. Yes, I am overly obsessed, but I think you two understand. :teehee:
