Eragon? o_O I didn't really pay attention to that music...I was busy trying not to groan at the movie. :P

Okay, yeah, the original trilogy was great...it just didn't earn a place on my top 10. :P

The music was the only reason I survived the movie. Oh the shame, the originals deserve a spot.

And dang it, I forgot one. How I forgot it, I have no clue. So I'm mashing all those LotR ones together and adding... [b]The Sting[/i].

Im surprised that the Narnia soundtracks arent up there... But The Village has an excellent score. Im not going to make a list, because most of them have been up there alot, but I think that Beauty and the Beast along with Sweeney Todd go up there if I had one :)

[*]Les Misérables [Basil Poledouris] - The 1998 film version. The score is unbelievably beautiful. It's heartbreaking, heartwarming and haunting all at the same time. I can't explain it, you just have to listen to it! "Caring For Fantine", "Marius And Cosette", "Theme From Les Misérables" and "Valjean Saves Marius" stand out the most.

Ack!!! :bounce: I love that movie and its music!!!!!! :-D

Yayyy I'm not the only one who loves the movie and the music!! I have the soundtrack CD. Let me know if you want some music from it :)

o_O Nobody's mentioned Black Hawk Down or Tears of the Sun yet...:o That's strange, imho. Though, those two soundtracks weren't quite good enough to be on my top-10 list. :)

Maybe they weren't quite good enough to be on anyone of our top 10 lists either ;)

Everyone has different tastes in music. People prefer different kind of scores.

Lol, true enough. But they are Hans Zimmer soundtracks, so I would have thought that somebody would have them. :P

Hans Zimmer is amazing. We should make a club for Hans Zimmer Fans. [checketh to see if there is one] :)

Oh my god, yes! Those two songs are just awesome! I haven't seen the movie though...

My list.

1. The Lord of the Rings (I just count them as one movie)
2. Kingdom of Heaven
3. The Piano
4. V for Vendetta
5. Doctor Who (What can I say, it is just awesome. Especially "Doomsday" and "Gallifrey: Our Childhood, Our Home")
6. Schindler's List (Just the sad, moving theme song...tears form sometimes.)
7. Batman Begins
8. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (I just love "Davy Jones" and "The Kraken")
9. The Pianist
10. Pan's Labyrinth

^ Quick comment on Pan's Labyrinth :P

I actually know the grand-niece of the artist who inspired the film with his dark children's books illustrations. She's the sweetest person EVER, and her family is super proud of the fact that they have someone famous in the family xDD

My top three are We Were Soldiers, A Knights Tale, & Lords of Dogtown just for the selection of songs on them.

1 -- The Lord of the Rings (I don't listen to them as much as I used to, but I am still in awe every time I go back to them)
2 -- Pirates of the Caribbean (all three... each movie's score has such a unique sound that perfectly fits the film)
3 -- Pride and Prejudice (2005)
4 -- Final Fantasy IIV: Advent Children (it's so varied!)
5 -- Van Helsing (though I've never seen the movie, the music's great)
6 -- Titannic (once again, never seen the movie and don't want to, but I love the music)
7 -- Pan's Labyrinth (and again... haven't seen the movie but I love the music  )
8 -- Eragon (a bit generic, but still good for writing)
9 -- Firefly (especially The Funeral :swoon: )
10 -- Spiderman (the music is understated, which really works with the movie)

Moulin Rouge
Across the Universe
Fight Club
The Village
Nightmare Before Christmas
Garden State

Josie and the Pussycats
Donnie Darko
Empire Records

You're welcome. I'll probably do the same later, when I'm not too lazy to actually put some in depth thought into it.
