Les Miserables is one of the best musicals ever! I'm re-reading the book right now.
Phantom of the Opera is probably my favourite.
Others:
The Flower Drum Song
West Side Story
Spamalot
Wicked
My Fair Lady
Hello Dolly!
Lots others.

Oooh!! Musicals! Yay! I LOVE LES MISERABLES! SO good. Even though it took up four weeks of my life last year and I could have shot each and everyone of the actors (ha, I'm a techie!) Um, MY FAIR LADY most definately! SPAMALOT, I JUST got the soundtrack from a friend. LOVE IT! Does Disney count?! ha ha ha. Just kidding. SWEENY TODD. Probably my favourite of ALL time (I'm quite morbid...hee hee hee) PUCK'S POTION anyone? It's a modern version of A Midsummer Night's Dream. SO AWESOME! RAGTIME. BAT BOY! We just did a production of that here at the University of Montana. LOVE IT! SO FUNNY!
I guess that's about it. I LOVE musicals though!

Musicals are awesome! My favorites are Phantom of the Opera, Sound of Music, West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Moulin Rouge, and Mamma Mia (the last doesn't quite qualify as an original musical, since it's based on the songs of ABBA, but it's still cool). Have yet to hear much of Les Mis...

Oh yes, I loves musicals. ^_^ I was practically brought up on them...my whole family still gets together and watches old musicals. The Sound of Music <3, My Fair Lady, The Music Man, Hello Dolly, Singin' in the Rain, Oklahoma...lots.
But my favourite musical would definitely be Phantom of the Opera. The music is fully capable of giving me the shivers (in a good way!). I can play the piano music...I love it.

Le Mis is definatley the best.
I like Joeseph and the technicolored dream coat. Helped me pass a hebrew sqripture test.
Spamalot is awesome. Had a dream with the song Always look on the bright side of life. I've never seen the musical, so it played out in my dream ow I amagin it when I listen to it.
Godspell is good
Pantom of the Opera. I love it.
Would little shop of Horrors be considered a musical?

I love Les Miz - I've seen it 8 times, and I never get sick of it. You know it's a cracking musical because this year is its 20th anniversary!
I wish though, that someone in the West End would pick up on Wicked - I really want to see it, but unless someone puts it on in the U.K, I'm completely stuffed!
Maybe someone will film it and put it on DVD like they have with some of the other U.S musicals that have never been on in the West End (like Jekyll and Hyde!) (pretty please!!!!)

I love musicals. Just today I saw my friends in Me and My Girl, it was great. The Music Man is brilliant, too! I think my favorite musical is Into the Woods...I haven't been able to find tapes or soundtracks, but my sixth grade teacher showed us a video once and I've never forgotten it since! It's really amazing.
I love Gilbert and Sullivan, as anyone who knows me will remember...the school I do chorus with does one or two a year. Gondoliers coming up, I can't wait.
