I enjoy listening to ~OMNIA~ even though they get a bit freaky at times. I was watching the video of their concert at Castlefest 2016 a couple weeks ago, and found out that the singer/harpist/keyboardist Jenny is artist Alan Lee's niece! They wrote and perform a song dedicated to Alan Lee. I tried to save the youtube video so it will start at the beginning of this segment (the concert is 1 hour and 26 minutes). If it doesn't work and you're curious, it starts at the 26:15 mark. (Video removed from Youtube due to divorce between Omnia and Castlefest)

Ooooh Omnia! They do make some amazing music, although I also agree with you on the freaky part. Even though I really appreciate their constant quest to make people aware of the earth, I honestly liked their earlier music better. Guess I'm not that into political messages during concerts.. I especially like "Fairy Tale", "Witches Brew", and "Cornwall". And I had no idea that Jenny is Alan Lee's niece, that's cool!

Not sure what all led to this, but Castlefest announced on their facebook page a couple days ago this: Quote: "It is with great sadness that we have decided to no longer book Omnia for Castlefest. It's my gut feeling Omnia's sense of 'earth-militancy' may have led to this. Anyway, there will be other venues to see Omnia, and this will make room for more up-and-coming medieval/pagan bands to play the festival.
