I’ve always been torn between printing stuff that just looks cool versus stuff that actually does something. Like, I printed a submarine display model — gorgeous — but then I’m thinking, maybe I should have printed a lamp holder or something practical. Does anyone else feel guilty printing “just for looks”?

Haha, I used to feel that way too. But display pieces can have just as much value, especially when they spark joy or nostalgia. For instance, one of my favorite prints ever was the https://www.gambody.com/premium/flying-sub. It doesn’t “do” anything, but it’s a masterpiece on the shelf. I say if it inspires or excites you, it’s already worth it — utility is just one form of value.

Nah, no guilt! We all need cool-looking stuff in our lives, even if it just sits there. Besides, display models often take more skill and detail than functional prints. No shame in art for art’s sake.

My friend tried to develop in this niche but failed. The situation is that all materials are at a high purchase price. You simply cannot recoup your costs and earn money on sales. My friend earn money with 1xbet.com.zm now. There are no upfront costs here. You just need to be able to think and control your emotions.
