Hi everyone! If you know or didn't know, Enya's New Album Amarantine comes out Nov. 22......which is tomorrow or today whenever you're reading this..! I am of course very excited. I've been listening to the songs and I thought hey! I should post the link to one of my favorite songs so far, that I've listened to... I'm excited about it, too! I thought it was cool that some of the songs are written in a language inspired partly by Elvish 
I'm listening to "Someone said goodbye" right now; it's very cool! The only other song from the album I've heard is the Japanese one that was posted on her official site a while ago. |

Oh, is the Japanese one on it? I saw the CD at the shops today  ... but I'm going to wait until the library gets it or something before I can hear it.

Ooh, I hadn't heard of this! Enya has really grown on me since I first heard and disliked her music. |

Yay Sid! Thanks for letting me burn it! It's really awesome! I think by far my favourite is Amid The Falling Snow! (I think that's what it's called) But I like all of them! Yay for Enya! |

Well, it sounds a bit silly. Heh. I was working really hard at having good support in my voice practice when I first heard her, and you know how she has that breathy quality in her music? It completely grated on my nerves. Here I was, struggling to get RID of the breathy sound, and Enya was making millions by keeping it! Grr. Anyway, now that I've gained better support, I'm over that, and like her music.

lol. I've never actually noticed the breathy-quality (but I was nine when I first hear her, so it's not very surprising) in Enya; I have in other artists, and it's funny how you just don't notice it after a while... |

I've heard good things abou this album too. I asked for it for Christmas. I became an Enya fan because of Maggie Drennon, who sings really good Celtic Rock music, and becasue of her singing on LotR-of course! |

Woah! Totally forgot about this thread... Alright, So I went out and bought the New Album the day it came out...hahaha...how typical of myself..
I Loved it! When Enya sings in Loxian, it is beautiful! My favorite "Loxian song" is Less than a pearl and The River Sings....Beautiful! My favorite English songs are Someone said Goodbye and In the Rain...In the Rain is a bit different than the other Enya songs...it's more...thick...I don't know how to describe it, since I don't sing But it's different....but I love it!!!
Of Course Sumiregusa is beautiful! Oh and Amid the Falling Snow, it's really appropriate for the weather right now in Montana Hehe!
Overall it's a great Album...No complaints! |

I like it. At first I didn't...Didn't like Amaranrtine...in fact, I don't like it so far. But I like Somebody Said Goodbye and Long Long Journey. Need to listen more and maybe I'll start to like Amarantine too. |
