Anybody here know Jethro Tull? I really like his music, though I must admit I haven't heard all of his songs...:)

I've heard of him, mainly for Thick as a brick. A 40 min album with 2 songs.

This reminds me of in Armageddeon when he says "Who is Jethro Tull?" Hahah, yeah I really enjoy his music.

Jethro Tull are my favourite band. I recommend 'Songs from the Wood' and 'Heavy Horses'. They're my favourite albums by them, but I've heard all of them. The best stuff is the albums before about 1985, there more recent stuff isn't nearly as good, but good no-one the less. In my list of top ten tracks and top ten albums 'Tull would fill about half of both lists.

As you can tell I kinda like them ^^

Yeah! I love Songs from the Wood - Especially 'Midnight Fire', I'm listening to that right now!

 scary. I'm listening to that too. I love 'The Whistler'. If I had to pick a favourite track of all time, it would probably be that.

I think I've heard him - did he do a song called living in the past? I love that song!

Yep, they did a song called 'living in the past'.

Jethro Tull as a 'he' was a 13th century scientist or something, who invented the seed drill.
Jethro Tull musically is a 'they', as they are a band. Just thought I'd clear that up, seeing as lots of persons are under the impression the band Jethro Tull is just one person. :-D

Wow, I never knew that *feels stupid* but it does sound like a one persons name...

It does, and it was, a long time ago. No need to feel stupid, it's a common misconception. :-D

My dad is addicted to this music, he got 100's of this band's cd's and he goes to their concerts whenever he can. ^^ He put those cd's so many times on in the car that i know every single one of them.
Locomotive breath is the best in my opinion.
