I'm sure we all have our favourites that we have to listen to every Christmas So, what are your favourite Christmas songs? Here are mine:
Harry Christmas (War is Over)--John Lennon and Yoko Ono
I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday--Wizzard
Merry Christmas Everybody--Slade
Do They Know It's Christmas?--Band Aid
Walking In The Air--Aled Jones
I have to listen to those every year, otherwise Christmas isn't complete! They're such brilliant songs...
So, what's yours?

I really don't have a favorite one but I really like "Santa Claus is coming to town" and "The Drummer Boy"(I think that's the name of the song). The Puerto Rican songs about Christmas are very close to me too!

I like 'Once in Royal David's City' and 'Carol of the Bells' Also, Christmas is never complete without the Nutcracker suite playing the background.

I love the Relient K Christmas cd, though sadly I don't have it. Trace Bundy's christmas cd is also really good, which I don't have either.
I mostly love singing Christmas songs though. I love the Christmas Eve service at church, when the lights are off, and everyone is holding a candle, singing O Holy Night and Silent Night.

I love;
-+-Fairy Tale of New York
-+-Merry Christmas everybody
-+-I wish it could be Christmas everyday
-+-Thank god its Christmas
-+-Holidays are coming (the coca cola one)
-+-The really big medley of christmas songs our school orchestra used to play
-+-Gaudete
-+-Christmas time (don't let the bells end)
In our school chior we always sang this awesome christmas song that made everyone clap and join in. And everyone would sing along with the medley, which made the conductor of the orchestra go MAD. So they are awesome christmas songs
I feel all festive now

Um, I listen to a lot of classical music that is supposedly 'Christmas' music. Like the Adagio from Corelli's Christmas concerto, and Down in Yon Forest and Bibel's Ave Maria and Crown of Roses (etc, etc). I have three cds of this sort of music. It's meant to be music of peace and tranquility, and I listen to it all year around.
My all-time favourite piece of music is "Walking in the Air", preferrably without singing. So I suppose that is technically 'Christmas'. I love George Winston's piano version, and I really like his piano version of "Carol of the Bells"! I've got both of Loreena McKennitt's Christmas albums - my favourite is got to be "Snow".
But music that I consider Christmas music (that is, I only listen to it at Christmas time) that I like... is really the "Aussie Christmas" albums. Since Christmas is in the middle of summer for me, I identify more with "you can't have a summer without Christmas, you can't have a Christmas without heat" (etc.) than songs about snow and cold. So I like "Frosty the Yobbo" and "Robert the Red-Nosed Raindeer" and "Santa's got a new truck" (to the tune of Santa Claus is coming to town) ... there some really nice serious songs on those albums, too.
As for carols... I'm not really a fan of a lot of carols. I think they are over-done. But I like things like "The Wexford Carol" and carols in other languages... and carols that aren't often sung.
(At the moment I'm listening to Loreena McKennitt's 'Banquet'.)

I think my favorite is Ukrainian Bell Carol...I guess it's also called Carol of the Bells. I love most carols...Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming, We Three Kings, Angels From the Realms of Glory, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Angels We Have Heard On High, the Coventry Carol, God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen, What Child is This, O Come, Little Children, Ding Dong Merrily On High, and many more.
I also really like Vivaldi's Gloria, which isn't really a Christmas piece, but goes well with the time of year.

Sorry guys! I made the thread in Your Life but realized it belonged more in Music and I forgot to check to see if there was already a thread.
Anyways, my favorite Christmas song.....as of now because I don't know that many songs --- is Jingle Bells. I usually hum it though.

I really love Trans-Siberian Orchestra's cd Christmas Eve and Other Stories. I have to listen to that every year (A Mad Russian's Christmas is my favorite song on the cd). I also really love O Holy Night and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

I can't think of the name. It is a complete classic sung by George Micheal: Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away... Something like that anyway!
