He might be known a bit, but Alistair Griffin was the Fame Academy runner up, and he vanished after releasing 'My Lovers Prayer'. Luckily supermarkets still had his album then! ![]() |

Uff.. there are a lot... Lingalad (have you hear it?? they sing about lotr). Blackmore's night.. a really good group. And then a lot of basque groups, like Gatibu, kauta, ken7, Kerobia... ![]() |

How about Arcturus....The genre is heavy-metal/pianoplay..there is also some black-metal in it... I talk about that song Star crossed....listen to that one and it will give you guessbums.... ![]() |

hmm...i haven't heard of any of these guys. Bethany Dillon is a Christian singer who started recorded her first big album at age 15. she's probably known fairly well to people who listen to Christian music, but i thought i'd post her here anyway. ![]() http://www.bethanydillon.com/ |

Hmm. I don't know if many people outside Montana have heard of Volumen. Maybe a few. But they are a pretty rock your socks off band! If you ever get the chance, go to volumen.net. I just went to a concert, and it rocked! |

AHhh! I love Volumen! Woohoo ! I have their Cd ![]() ![]() Haha, that concert rocked ![]() "with a catchy little chorus that goes like this v-o-l-u-m-e-n, lalalaa Volumen!" Yes, Everyone should check out Volumen.net, one of my favorite songs is "Pretty Girls" and "How do you spell..?" *goes off singing Volumen songs* |

This is a great thread. but i don't know so many unknown talents so i'll jsut be checkin' in here once in a while. Or I could tell you about Danish bands ... Well di any of you Brits know the Raveonettes? they're pretty well-known here (as they also are Danes) but I think they live in England... Listen to them! now! And Mew? Live in England too. great band. |
