bands bands bands mania is just talking all about the bands that you like and why. i'll start:

Red Hot Chili Peppers!! Great music, style, Kiedis' voice, Flea, Frusciante... They rock out much louder than AAR :P

i totally agree! though the food they decided to name the band after is better, lol j/k. so what are your thoughts on greenday simple plan and nickleback?

Well... GD were better before they got into MTV & stuff {commercialized?}, but they´re ok.
Simple plan... haven´t heard much of their stuff, but imo Untitled is pretty good song ^^;
Nickleblack -- I used to love them, but now i´m not really into them.

Atm I wub Lacuna Coil & Within Temptation... and ofcourse Nightwish!

So I'm just supposed to talk about bands I like? I'm generally a classic rock sort of person, like The Who, The Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Clash, ect. Yep, I'm stuck in the past. :P

I like System of a Down too, even if they are kind of commercialized.

GD- I used to be obessed with them, now not so much. I'm a sap for Good Riddance.

Simple Plan- No likey.

Nickleback- I'm sorry, but I think their songs sound the same. And I don't like the singers voice. "Photograph" is overrated and gives me a headache. The End.

Well I think Blind Guardian shall always have a place in my heart. Their what got me into metal, and metal set aside, they just are a great band, and have a good range of sound to maybe appeal to some of the masses. Rhapsody and their classical metal (it resounds throughout their songs, making it sound very much 'medieval') too is very good. But Blind Guardian deffinately number 1. And their German!

I really like The Beatles. I pretty much grew up on them. They were the first band I ever really liked, I'm so glad I found my old cds a few weeks ago!

Blink 182 still holds a place in my heart for all their music helped me through, even though the magic I used to feel when I listened to their music is pretty much gone.

I like Avril Lavigne also, she has catchy songs and I respect her for not lip syncing.

Greenday is pretty special to me, since I grew up listening to them.

Hmm that's all I can think of right now.

You guys sure have a lot of opinions, right now i'm totally into this band called Wakefeild, i don't know why, but i totally like classice rock too. the beatles are awsome. does anyone really like any 80's bands anymore?

Well a lot of the bands I like and still do came from the early 80's and are still going strong today:
Slayer, Metallica (there older stuff is superior), Testament, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Danzig, Exodus...I could list more. But you get the general idea lol

I was just a kid in the 80's so I liked stuff like Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran and Wham!...but I was more into Queen and Madness.

i am really angry right now, my friend says that nickleback totally sucks and they're just some "poser" band. i totally disagree with that statement.
