I may be chased off the board now, but does anyone else like Country and Western music? I used to watch the channel all the time when I was lil and I still love the likes of Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton... Anyone else a fan of this music?

Well, back when i was in like 5th and 6th greade, i was a country lovin cowgirl. I was totally obsessed with Garth brooks and the dixie chicks. Ive outgrown country now, i mean i dont HATE it but its not somthing i listen to all day. My mom loves country so i hear it all the time, i guess i dont mind it too much.

Johnny Cash, Johnny Cash and um...Johnny Cash.
My mum was a huge C&W fan and I was brought up on him and people like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and others of that era.
Not really much my thing though.
Johnny Cash was awesome though..he was C&M..Country&Metal lol

I used to be a country fan two years back. I don't really hate it but nowadays I don't really listen to it anymore

I like it in small doses and at selective times. A lot of the country music they play on the radio sounds very much the same, but there are some really talented country musicians out there. I am a huge bluegrass fan though. My favorites are Johnny Cash, the Dixie Chicks, Nickel Creek, and Alison Krauss and Union Station.

It's so funny, I've been listening to Johnny Cash since I was little...and since Walk The Line the movie came out, the people at school who used to think it was so odd that I listened to him are now suddenly huge Johnny Cash fans. haha I go to school now and half the kids are wearing Johnny Cash shirts and talking about him...singing his songs... it's kinda creepy...like twilight zone-ish. haha
