Post subject:  Matisyahu
I'm not usually into reggae or rap, but my sister introduced to me the music of Matisyahu. He's also a really good at beatboxing (when they make beats and sounds with their mouths) and just overall a really good musician. Does anyone else like him?

When I first heard about him I said he'd never fly. But I bought his cd and wow. He's talented. It's definately not my type of music, but I enjoy it.

Jen, you completely read my mind! I was seriously about to start a Matisyahu thread! I love this guy--and I am in no way a listener of rap or reggae. I think I like his stuff so much because it's not really the music I think of when I think of 'rap'. I'm listening to him right now in fact, just bought the album off of iTunes :)

I am definately not a rap or reggae fan either, vikingmaiden. I didn't like him that much when I first heard him, but he grew on me as my sister forced me to listen to his cd when I rode in the car with her :P He is definately someone who would be great in concert with his beatboxing and such.

He's really good! I love the song king without a crown. Every one who hears its, their first reaction is "what the heck is this" but most people eventually fall for him

Ha I just found out about this guy and i his song YOuth, but I think its great that at this time and age we have such a diversity in our music industry
