...there's no underoath thread already?
i thought for sure that someone had started one...
anyways.
the new album (lost in the sound of separation) is all ohemgee..lsdfosifheothesirhjesreslajfkl awesome.
"define the great line" is awesome as well, but in a different..less clean vocals more screaming heaviness..way.
"they're only chasing safety" started it all for me. it's because of that album that i like screaming (depending on the mood) in my music.
if you happened to have picked up the one before that (the changing of the times), before they switched singers, it's, again, different, but good.
in chronological order, my faves are:
"a boy brushed red..living in black and white"
"down, set, go"
"it's dangerous business walking out your front door" (LotR reference ftw!)
"some will seek forgiveness, others escape"
"you're ever so inviting"
"salmarnir"
"too bright to see, too loud to hear"
"coming down is calming down"
...and like the rest of the new album
also, i'd like to point out that i love how their song titles aren't just a line from the song or something (not that i mind that..) but that they're unusual. i try to do the same when i write prose or poetry..
