I love Snow Patrol!! They're one of my very favorite bands.
My favorite songs are "Run", "Chasing Cars" "Set the Fire to the Thrid Bar", and "Eyes Open".

Well, after sitting in front of my TV all day being brainwashed by music videos, I was exposed to a whole bunch of stuff I'd never heard. I saw the 'Chasing Cars' video about four times today I think. It's a really great song. They seem a bit mellower than most bands I like, but still really good. *goes to check them out some more* |

"Run" was a free download on iTunes (This is becoming a theme for tonight's posts  ). I downloaded it and loved it, but never thought to check them out any further. Of course, as soon as I heard "Chasing Cars" I had to download the entire album. Favorites:

Oh no! Double post!
Does anyone own Songs for Polarbears or When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up? They're both REALLY early Snow Patrol and barely sound like them today, but are amazing albums. "An Olive Grove Facing the Sea" is hands down one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. It never fails to get the hairs on the back of my neck standing up. Probably. Though I love Open Your Eyes so much more than Chasing Cars.
Am I in the minority when I say that Chasing Cars is one of my least favorite Snow Patrol songs? |
