Amoniel and all herr upper arm strength (hee hee) went and joined the girls and Rupert joined the boys.
She grabbed a handful of snow and chucked it at the boys. It conviently hit Mat straight on in the face.
"Yes!!" She cried punching the air and then ducked from oncoming snowballs.

"All right!" Nurr exclaimed. "New joiner!" She high-fived Amoniel, then started a barrage of snowball fire. Most of the balls missed, but she had the satisfaction of seeing one hit Mat in the mouth as he was laughing at her pitiful attempts.

As I picked up another snowball and experimentally tossed it, I noticed the group separating. "Hey Cricket!" I called back again. "It looks like they're starting a Boys versus Girls. What you say we go join 'em?" The mischevious grin on my face could never have been reflected better on a caribou's face as it was now. "Right then, let's go!" I scooped up a few snowballs from the stockpile and used my arm to hold them, and behind me I could hear a soft crunch as Cricket came behind kicking a few missles along. How she managed to keep up with me, I'll never know; I was running, and kicking a couple of snowballs along would make it awfully difficult to keep up. Oh well, there's a lot of things she does that I'll never understand.
But I'm getting off subject here. Just like me to do that. We reached what appeared to be the girls' snowfort without injury...er, getting hit by a snowball. "Mind if we join up?" I asked, still grinning from playfulness. Seriously, sometimes I have the behavior of a six-year-old.
