This sounds very fun...but I wasn't around for the previous ones, so I'm a little unsure on how everything works...but don't worry, I'll figure it out!
An alias sounds fun. *Grins evilly as she thinks up a mysterious sig set*
But, like, Aramel, I'm confused on one thing: do we make up a character/alias, or should we just answer the profile with our own interests?

Here's an example of a profile without an alias.
<b>Name:</b> Kitoky
<b>Profession:</b> Travel Agent
<b>Hobbies:</b> Gathering unsuspecting people to mysterious places, pressing flowers.
<b>Favorites:</b> Lord of the Rings, Boromir, Glorfindel, Harry Potter, Remus Lupin, Tonks, CSI, Gil Grissom, Rachel Weisz, Ralph Fiennes, Hugh Jackman, The Prestige, anime, etc.
<b>Dislikes:</b> Mary-Sues and Gary-Stews, Twilight, His Dark Materials, Politics, too much of the color pink.
<b>Other:</b> Has fish named Pearl, Jaws, Hikaru & Kaoru.

Pretend I'll be attending the hallowfest under an assumed identity.

I am so excited for this. I'm definitely signing up, and now I can only hope I remember how everything runs and works with this thing.  I'll be PMing my profile shortly.
One thing I didn't understand [forgive me for sounding dense] is, do we change our name for the HallowFest? You mentioned changing avatars and signatures, but I wasn't sure about names. Will it be possible for those of us with stars that allude [rather obviously] to our identities to have them changed for the duration of the event?

You can change your name too, but if you're active in other threads as Elegost, Ea, and JF have pointed out, it would be quite easy to figure out. I think it's just a nice change for some people, to not be "Larael" for two weeks but other less than righteous, silly name.
