I'm undecided. Though I've been a Narnia fan longer...

Um, could you please not state your opinion as if it were fact? I dearly adore the books, so it's hard enough to hear that as a purist. :P

I would really appreciate it. ;)

I meant that maybe she could state it in a more polite way such as, "I think the Narnia books are boring."

But it's okay...I'll back off now.

Oh yes, Haldir! For easy but rich reading. They don't take long at all, but the story is very, very intriguing. :)

Seven, correct. But everyone reads them in their own order. :P Some like read in the way Lewis wrote them, while others read them in chronological order.

Anyway, we're getting off topic, so if you would like to continue lets do it over PM.

I wouldn't say they're boring, I just didn't like the way they were written. I like when things are said in a lot of words, hence my LotR obsession :P

So yeah, LotR for sure!

I like LoTR better, but narnia is cool to. I related more to Narnia and enjoyed it more when I was younger. But now that im older I like LoTR alot more.

someone already did that on dancing lawn forums and narnia came out tops. I can understand why you dont like narnia, Artemis - but it's certainly not boring - and far from it! i love the books!!! none of my friends do tho...
there's no doubt tho - narnia is easier going and for children - lotr isn't so really, there's no comparison.

WML, I never said I didn't like the books, I said that they are very child-like. And I think that you should respect Artemis' opinions, we all feel diffie about things. Okay?

well...I am 13 years old and I can read a Narnia book in 3 days...although Narnia may be kinda childish sometimes im like Narnia is better than LOTr and then others im like LOTR is better than Narnia

all in all though, Narnia just has something more to me then LOTR does...no matter what Narnia will never be too childish for me...
