My names are Elen-way Undom-ay and I think that most people think 'ee' when they see 'ë' but it's pronounced 'ay.'

When I read The Silmarillion, Idril was one of my favorite characters. I don't quite remember why I needed a new name, but after going through about five non-sticky names I chose that for my first name. and then for a surname, Falas means shore, and tári is queen.

It was about two years ago, but Idril Falastári has stood the test of time for me. I keep it because it feels like me.
