Menu means some thingy between squishy hamburger bun sections (alternatively some oddments of the chicken or whatever sort needing a fork, but no bun), a defined size of fries, and a defined size of drink. Saves you the time of ordering all three items separately – at least that’s my theory of why the “menu” was invented.  Gyros and souvlaki with tzatziki (with a good bit of garlic), rice and a mixed salad. _________________

So I pictured you trying to eat the typical lighted reader-board 'menu' that are usually up on the wall behind the counter. Since you said you ate "A Burger King menu" and not 'A Burger King menu item which in your case was a combo meal ON the menu.
