Hi, some ppl mite have read my other topic, about me cutting myself?? well i stopped for a few month and now, well im at it again and my friend 2!!! help me, i dont want to have to wear bracelets 24\7!!!!!

hm..gee that sounds tough. maybe when u feel the need to..er..cut yourself..just throw the knife..or...like..hide the knives...

I know what you mean. I was in the same situation. god helped me to get out of that but I am not sure if it's allowed to write anything about it.

I really realized that it was wrong when I drove in a car with my best friends and their mother. Suddenly the mother said, totally shocked: She cuts herself. and it was so embarassing and I knew that I don't want anyone to see it. now I have scars and there's nothing I can do against it.

Just stop it, try it at least and get help from afriend who doesnt do the same...

i'm really not sure what to say, but i want you to know that i know exactly what it feels like to be in that place, but i've come through it (just like with elenya, it was god that gave me the strength) and that means that you can come through it too.

whenever i got the urge to hurt myself, i used to just curl up as small as i could and make myself stay perfectly still and quiet until the feeling passed. the more i did that, the less i wanted to hurt myself, so that now i don't at all.

i don't know how much this will mean to you, but you're in my thoughts and prayers. i may not know you, but i really believe with all my heart that you can beat this - experience has taught me that those personal demons can always be beaten.

BlackRose...your being too harsh on her. if Nightingale really knows her and TN is saying the truth that she is not drawing attetion, I believe TN then..cuz..TN seems honest.

meleth_legolas, I really only have one suggestion: professional help. In the old thread you said that you were able to stop temporarily, but you obviously can't stop permanently. If you really want to stop permanently(Or a least have some sort of chance) you need to get counseling, because are posts telling you to "go hug a puppy" when you feel the urge are (unsurprisingly) useless.

Sorry to be so blunt, but you obviously need real help.

yeah, you probably do need professional help. you can talk to your parents and they will most likely help you to get a counsler.
I have a question: why is cutting addicting? I never really quite got that. How is hurting yourself something that you can't stop?

i had a freidn that use to cut herself, and she got through it fine, without god, so dont think thats the only way you can turn. Dont be afraid to tel parents, counsellors or trusted teachers, just dont, it's not a good way to live your life. Try wearing elastics, and wehn you get the urge to cut yourself, snap them, usually it helps, or write, or draw, or anything else.

I don't think that is what we wanted to say. At least not what I wanted. It's not the only way, it's just the way some of us got away from it.
