Basically, what you do is you post a gif that reflects your current feelings.
One gif per post, and you may only post once an hour - unless someone posts in before you in that time.
In general just one gif per post, but if you're feeling two things it's ok to occasionally have two.
What a gif is:
A gif is an animated moving image, Tumblr is a great source.
Just search for whatever mood you're in and you're sure to find gold. Like "angry" or even "angry gif"
I'll start with an example of how I'm feeling:
