Wow!! quite a day. I've never had quite that much of excitement in a while. Considering I finished 8th grade so early..I just sit my butt down at the computer all day...which, gets boring when no one's barely on AU. ![]() |

Spiders are cool... Glad you don't have all freshman... If you did I'd take it as an insult. |

^ Yup. Ever since I was 9, and some boys threw a daddy longleg on me. Loved 'em ever since. |

Speaking of simplicity, boy am I glad we still have a closed caseback. link Nothing against the link Calibre 5 Automatic (ETA 2824-2-based) movement, but there's something nice and tight about a watch with a closed caseback. Especially a watch that will likely be purchased as an link everyday piece, just like the TAGs of old. |

As HSNY's Librarian, I came into the picture much later, starting in July of this year. link I'm a lifelong bibliophile who collected fountain pens, typewriters, and watches as a child growing up in Miami. After finishing a Ph.D., where I researched a group of link women who founded their own printing press in nineteenth-century London, I spent link three years as a librarian at the University of Michigan. I'm thrilled to be the steward of HSNY's Jost Burgi Research Library. |
