Post subject:  The Kin's table for this years Hobbit ball
This is a thread for eating. Here you can eat and drink and maybe have a little discussion with your friends. (Sets a carrot cake, several packs of cookies, several pies (inclueding a peanut butter pie), and a pitcher of lemonaid on the table) Feel free to bring more food and drinks and set them on the tabble for you and the rest of your friends. Please enjoy! :-D ...

Gwearyan's eyes nearly popped out of her head, when she the tables and tables covered in all sorts of delicious foods and drinks. Cakes, pies, pasties, fruit, vegetables. All sorts of dishes were laid out on the tableclothes that lined the long tables.

Ben plonked himself down at the food table with a large sigh. 'Ahh, this is my kind of place. A bit early for anything too heavy, but I think I could eat some bread and soup!'. Pulls relevant food items towards him, and digs in.

Tiger Lily didn't know where to begin. Everything looked so delicious, it was impossible to choose. She eventually settled on some fruit and a bit of bread. Something light to start would be nice.

The group walked over to the table and all sat down in there place. Merry and Pippin sat next to each other, and so did Frodo and Sam. Prisca sat down next to Merry and across from Sam.

"Umm.. Food," Pippin commented.
"All I can do is agree with you in that," Merry replied, giving Pippin a nudge on the shoulder.

Pippin quickly nudged back, and Merry banged into Prisca. "Hey guys," Prisca quickly announced, "this is supposed to be a food table. We'll fight later."

Frodo laughed, and Sam shook his head at the obscure scene at the other side of the table.

"Alright," Pippin consented, "Now it is time to eat."
"And consult to plotting," Prisca remarked.
"Plotting?" Frodo and Sam asked simultaneously.
"Yes," Prisca answered, "I mean, we have got to start a water game or steal a firework or something."
"That sounds interesting.." Merry thought aloud, "I'm sure we could think of something."

Thistle walked over to the table with her glass of punch.
"Hi Prisca!" She smiled as she watched Merry and Pippin. "Enjoying yourselves?"

"Hey Thistle!" Prisca said as she covered Merry's mouth for he was rambling off on their new found idea in which Pippin was absoultely delighted about. Frodo laughed and looking rather intreged, and Sam thought through the ways of how they all wouldn't get caught.

Violet arrived at the party, and set down a platter of snacks at the table. "Hullo, everyone!" she said. She was hungry, so she sliced off a piece of pie and then sat down at the table.

Cleallyra sat down at the long table already filling with people and watched as Marroc took a seat next to her. "Where should we start? The soup, the roast...?" There was absolutely too much food to mention - definitely a Hobbit Ball. :yes:

Marroc sat down next to Cleallyra and eyed all of the different choices carefully. As he noticed some people already started with lighter stuff, he thought this would be best.

"I think we should go for the fruits. Apples maybe," he said, grinning widely. "However, soup is always good."

Cleallyra attempted to toss Marroc an apple, but instead she missed and hit Pippin on the head with it. With her hand cupped over her mouth, she began to snicker in both embarassment and humor.

Pippin turned his head and looked up in the sky. Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Prisca snickered. Shrugging his shoulders, Pippin picked up the apple and started to eat it while signaling Merry to continue on with the plan.

Ben continued to eat soup quietly whilst the others arrived and chittered. Slowly a mischevious grin lit his face, and he soaked a peice of bread in soup, and looked about for a likely target...

Marroc's eyes shot open as he failed at attempting to catch the apple. He laughed casually, at first not noticing how Cleallyra was stunned, and embarrassed at the same time. When he did notice however, Marroc turned suddenly around to see an apple lying in Pippin's lap.

Marroc burst into more laughter when realized the apple had struck Pippin on the forehead. "Sorry," he offered, this time trying to hide the laughter cooped up in him.

"Maybe we should just stick to the soup," Cleallyra winked before taking a bowl and handing it to Marroc.

"Great idea," he said, laughing just a bit more. "Thanks very much." Marroc filled the bowl with the hot soup, and slowly started draining it.

"Well this sure is a wonderful supply of food."
