An unfortunate victim link of the Quartz Crisis, the original Silverstone did not have a long life. Later TAG Heuer would revive the Monaco thanks to LeMans (and its star Steve McQueen), breathing new life into the square watch. The Silverstone was almost lost to history, but for the 150th link anniversary of the Heuer brand, this watch was created as a limited edition. And though the rounded-edge, square style may not be link for everyone, who wants to look like everyone else?
