Hide and Seek has, is, and wil always been known as the classic childrens game of where the little boy liked the little girl and was able to hunt her down. However, in today's world, the parameters have changed. In WETA, there are 6 different rooms including: the Caftertia, Makeup and Costume, Weapons, Bigatures and Miniatures, Editting Room, and the Set. It is within these 6 rooms that we go beyond elementary school and play Hide and Seek.

Smeag stood in the council room of Rivendell and looked down at the concrete floor right before the Dead Marshes. From having a bit of a hieght challenge (and thus marrying a halfling), she would have to compromise her leader-like speeches as to be on different levels as everyone else. Even though, it has been rumored that, unfortunately, she does appear even smaller from the angle.

"Everyone!" she shouted at the top of her tiny lungs, "We are going to engage in a loving and blood-gritting game of hide and go seek. In response to not wanting to deal with all of the "Its" and "Not its", I will be the first person that is "It". I will count to 100, slowly, and then I will hunt you down."

Smeag stood for a moment and smiled to make sure everyone understood what she was saying. Then, she ran over, sat in Elrond's chair, and began counting, "1.......2........3........."

Nurr giggled as she ran from the set room. She had the perfect place to hide. In the hallway, she could hear a distant "22, 23, 24..." as she continued on her course.

Pandora grinned as she heard the countdown, she looked over to Glorfindel who had a sparkle in his eyes, they knew exactly where to hide. Grasping her husbands hand she ran down the hallway just outside the set of the council of Elrond as she heard the distant counting of Smeag. "40...41...42"

Having finally found where Hid-and-Seek was located, Meri realized that there is not much time to find a hiding spot. She hurries out of the room towards the Bigatures area, passing the bigature of Orthanc as she runs.

Suddenly realizing what was going on, LEE grabbed her startled date and dragged him to find a place to hide. Trying to be quiet yet LEE wasn't able to keep all her giggles at bay. Wait, was the the editing room up ahead?

"..99..100" Smeag finished counted and poked herself up from the chair. She quickly scimmered down to the ground floor and skimmed through the floorplan of the set. From past experience, she knew to hear for people who would leave the initial room. In this, Smeag flashed out of the door and proceeded to look in the Weapons Department.

Pandora and Glorfindel found a lovely hiding place, in a grand room full of different items they could hide behind, they were sure that Smeag would not find them here...

Smeag looked behind each weapon as she slowly motioned through the Weapons Room.

CLANG!

She quickly thrust around and noticed a sword had been knocked to the ground from her persistent bickering with the weaponary. Fearing for her innocence, Smeag quickly ran out of the Weapons Department and headed towards the Bigature and Miniature Room.

Glorfindel, with his elven ears, heard the sound of a clanging of something in the weapons room falling, he began to laugh and Pandora poked him in the side, thankful that Smeag wasn't in their room yet. "Ssssh."

"LEE..." Clap! LEE's hand flew to his mouth and she glared at him. She quickly shoved herself and her date into their hiding place. A clang made LEE jump and hit her head. "Oof!" she said rubbing her now sore head.

Smeag poked around the Miniature and Bigature room. She could not help but notice every single amazing object on her little adventure. She had longed to see all of these things, and it took every once of self control not to touch them.

Turning around, Smeag smiled from the hopeful spotting of a shoe that tucked itself back behind the statue of the argonath. Rubbing her palms together and giggling, Smeag ran towards the statue in apparent triumph.

Nurr waited with baited breath. She was sure her hiding place was perfect - the bigatures were most definitely big enough to conceal a human. She realized that her foot had been sticking out of the hiding spot and quickly pulled it back in. The now excited-sounding footsteps of the seeker, though, seemed to imply that she wasn't quick enough.
