I just read through the posts from the past couple of days. Great to see that the Family Tree organising is picking up again!

I agree that we should just get the ball rolling and see where it takes us, what the interest is and so on. If Enno wants to organise the clamining/re-claiming of spouses that could easily start now. What is needed here is either to start up a re-claiming thread and/or make a list of people who used to have spouses and then PM them. But in order not to stall the process I think we should set a deadline for people to reply.. like 3-4 weeks or so...
In the meantime, people might want to discuss how to claim new spouses and set up some rules for a fair game. Should people draw straws or something like that? Because first come, first serve might be the easiest way but not necessarily the most fair!

Regarding who the line founders should be I agree that we might do with only one at the moment because the fun of the trees is the interaction that takes place in the roleplaying threads among the family members, so spreading it over too many lines/threads might take out the dynamics and randomness!
Even though everyone technically was related because the other line starters were sisters to Arweb I kinda like the idea that she is still the mother of everyone! Also, keep in mind that the line founder doesn't necessarily have to be the line starter.. meaning that a Family Tree Organiser could start the thread and edit the first post with new members. But that person needs to be one that will be dedicated to the Family Trees because there will be quite some work in the beginning. The mods can edit posts and I'd be willing to help out too.

As for the logic in who's related.. there is none! Like Raina said people just came in and asked to be adopted and someone who came along adopted them. The way it usually worked was that 2 people knew that they were mother/daughter and then roleplayed from that or a group of 3-4 people knew that they were sisters and then they would put it in their signatures like "Sister to Luthien" or something. It didn't matter very much how people were related as long as they were part of the trees.

Its alright. School can be a bother! Ummm...I dunno, right now I think we're workin on the spouses and stuff, trying to decide what exactly to do about that (I've already got my man picked out, lol!). Anyway, I posted up a thread askin if anyone was interested, and I think we've gotten enough feedback to know we could made a tree work. Right now I'm just waitin around in case my help is needed.
