Post subject:  Who's interested in being in the Family Trees?
With all the new members that are joining, and with the members The Hobbit movie may bring us, a few of us are kickin around the idea of starting up the Family Trees again. If you're interested in being a member of one of the Trees please let us know, just so we have an idea of how many people are interested in this project. For more information about the Trees you can find the different branches of the Families in Elrond's Library, under the 'Forbidden Pool' heading. Thanks y'all!

Of course I will! And I'm more then willing to draw out the family trees on paper to be seen(or making it a graphic instead) as the trees grow. But did we finally decide on what the lines were? Were we going to use the original lines, or new ones so that the line it's named from is still around?

I'm a little confused as to whether we are starting new lines or are we still affiliated to the old ones ( or Both) and what about Marriages are they happening too?

^Yes ;) Because it's not fair to start from scratch so there's some organising that needs to be done to see if people want to keep their spouses :P Which I shall be doing if no one objects, but it needs a little bit of reading/research before I get a claim thread up :P

Also, yes. Definitely interested, it helped me a lot when I was new. I met some awesome people through the family tree who I might not have met/talked to as much elsewhere :)

So with the trees you can just join, and then you have to be adopted? I don't exactly understand.

Well, we're ironing out the details of who starts the line and who the main branches are and what not, but the way I understand it is you go to the Tree thread, say that you would like to be adopted, and then one of the family members adopts you into that family.

Hravan, if that image of Bilbo was a facebook picture I'd like it.
I am really interested! And hope I can be apart of it again even though I am not the most active member on here due to a busy life...:)

I'd definitely be interested in being in the Family Trees again. I loved being a part of it, and would love to be so again!
