Every little thing is really p***ing me off to no end right now, I'm at a point where I'm about ready to commit murder.

As one squirrel was still giving us the eye, decided to chuck down a handful of peanuts; your job to find them, kiddo!

The sudden changes in the weather is really messing with my hair. It's hard to manage already as it is. Can't win.

Plowing my way through Winston Churchill’s six-volume “The Second World War”, in volume five now (a re-read from more than ten years ago when I was able to get hold of the complete English-language set, after having read a German translation of his compressed single-volume brick).

Just in case you mother likes music by Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Count Basie, I would suggest that you tread far more softly, Gersemi. Just in case (obviously I have no idea).

There's tornado watches and warnings west of the state. Not uncommon, but an actual tornado is rare here. The last ones were during the 2011 New England tornado outbreak. She was a teenager in the 70s and doesn't even know who Queen or Led Led Zeppelin is!

I hate training videos! I'd rather be on the floor, working.

Among the critters who consider peanuts as useful food (a very wide swath of the animal kingdom!) is at least one raven (occasionally, two show up). Today has been quite hot in the afternoon, and the raven which flew into the tree closest to our balcony only gave off a rather quiet squawk (nothing like the loud “caw, caw, caw” that they normally sound off with). Chucked some of the universal food (i.e. peanuts in shells) down for it, which were accepted immediately.

I was playing with my dog, when I found a tick on his face...or more like in it. I felt so bad for him. Somehow it's not easy to get tick-remover supplies in every pharmacy because they are constantly running out of them...but after a few phone-calls I managed to secure a place for sets of both tick-remover spoon and Lyme-test, and luckily it turned out that this specific ***** had no Lyme-disease. Let's hope this was the end of it.
