It's been very warm for October around here and it's predicted that we're going to have a warm winter this year. |

My cousin takes way too selfies. That's all I see on her Facebook page. It's starting to get annoying. |

Are you telling me that your three felidae are such sloppy eaters that they leave a serious out-of-dish residue for Oscar to have a happy snack time with??? |

Oscar has neater eating habits. The cat feeding station always looks like they've been having a food fight. |

Just a wild guess, but perhaps this has to do with cats occasionally liking to "play" with their food? Though research tends to point to food that can move on its own - in extreme cases even escape. |

Unusually warm weather in early November; got the windows open. No complaints here. |

Was out mowing the lawn and trimming the hedge on the side of the house when our local magpies came in for a swoop. The first one glided just over my hat, and the second followed. I put my arm out as the second one passed, and he turned and came around in a tight circle and landed on my wrist. He looked at me for a bit before turning around and flying off. Too cool. |

I would be so stoked if that happened to me. The only wild critter who did anything similar was a chipmunk that sat on my hand while I was feeding him and his cohort peanuts. Definitely not magpie equivalent.
