Swooning?
Ah...well, generally admiring..with wistful sighs included.
For instance...
A lot of people swoon over Orlando Bloom.
Or...Elijah Wood.

Me?
I swoon over...Cillian Murphy, and ....Niikura Kaoru.
And Dorian Gray.

Yeah. I know what swooning is (Very expeirienced swooner. Maybe a proffesional) I was just wondering why this thread was over in the RPG section. Though i do tend to swoon over my character. Is that bad?

Swooning is typically when a fangirl goes nuts over an actor, or any kind character. They scream, rant, post countless drool smilies, post pics, etc. If you're brave enough, go to the Swoon Board and see what it's really like. ;)

Okay, so I'm not a really big fan girl. But I do swoon. But not loud yelling. Just a small high pitched squee. And my eyes occasionaly glaze over

Wow, I'm glad I know the true meaning of swoon now! I always thought it meant to faint when you see a hot guy. (or a girl, if you're a guy, but swooning might not be manly. lol) I'm glad I'm set straight now! lol

lol, i guess it cans orta means that, cause it swooning is more of the whole fainting/sighing thing, rantic is the whole crazy fangirl thing.

Well, the real meaning of swoon is to faint, but fan girls and such have twisted the meaning.

Yeah, literally it would mean fainting, but we use it to mean just going gaga over someone :) Like Christian Bale, for instance

Mr. Tumnus. *Swoon*
I remeber there was a discussion about how there should be a swoon emoticon. The drool just isn't enough.
